Storage Of Centrifugal Pumps

① The pump that has not been installed should be coated with a suitable rust inhibitor on the unpainted surface. Bearings lubricated with oil should be filled with appropriate oil, and bearings lubricated with grease should be filled with only one type of grease. Do not use mixed grease.
② Pump clean liquid in a short period of time, flush, suction pipeline, discharge pipeline, pump casing and impeller, and drain the flushing liquid in the pump casing, suction pipeline and discharge pipeline.
③ Drain the oil from the bearing box, then add clean oil, thoroughly clean the grease, and refill with new grease.
④ Seal the suction and discharge ports, store the pump in a clean and dry place, protect the motor winding from moisture, and spray rust and corrosion inhibitors inside the pump casing.
⑤ Rotate the pump shaft once a month to prevent freezing and lubricate the bearings.
